Now that my single barrel gun is built I've been mulling over the idea of building an over/under. What is the best over/under on the market for under $1000? BYG

Often you can find an old Miroku which was the relabeled Citori...

Wait until you can afford it. You won't be happy with any OU you can get for a grand. Get a Beretta 390 for now.

Keep you eyes peeled for a good 682/686 O/U. If you aren't in a hurry, you can find one for a grand or a little more.

You can also find 3200's in this price range if you are patient enough.

Winchester 101 or Select Energy, just keep an eye on the forearm screws

A Browning GTI, or a Beretta 686 Whitwing. Some say the Whitewing is too light for an afternoon of shooting, but I don't think so. The GTI has a Broadway rib and both guns can be found for $900 to $1000.

There's a Win. 101 on gunbroker.com, 30" O/U for @1250.00. Might check it out. Fixed chokes 1970 era and looks to be in top condition...not my gun just happened to run across it. Ron

A $1000 Fabbri pigeon gun would be a good choice. A $1000 Purdey over under would be my second choice.

If you can find a vintage Superposed Broadway in and around $1000 that would be a very good value... they're out of favor, so pricing may be right...
