You mean best TRAPshooter? I would take Daro. Now throw in some other events and it gets more complicated. Jake

I wonder if Stubby Clapp ever had to suffer jokes about his name. Jake

Nice to know there are few 'hot shot' lefty's. I've also wondered about this, since I'm a lefty (not a hot-shot, big shot or anything else)! Great question Lorna, thanks!

Daro Handy happens to hold a simple handicap record of over 500 straight from the 27 yard line. I guess since that could be considered the greatest record in trapshooting that would have to make him the best lefty. Jeff

Nora is a righty........but still a pretty fair shooter, even with one eye. She has done alright for herself...Nubs Wagner.
I shoot lefty and there are several very good left handed shooters running around. Daro stopped running awhile back, but 505 straight from the 27 is pretty fair shooting by anyone's standards.
I agree with the names from above, but how about some guy named Chadwell from Ohio. I hear he shoots some too.

lol...ok, Stef...if I had KNOWN your Dad was left handed, I would have thought of him immediately!) Bryan didn't realize he was a lefty either.

I didn't know Carl Chadwell is as well....

those are 2 shooters I personally know and know we will see somewhere shooting at some point for this particular person to watch.

    Thanks much!

We are in the midwest, I don't pay much attention to which side someone shoots from......now I will for a while anyway.

During their prime years, I would chose Daro Handy for handicap and Pete McCall for singles and doubles. Both now have some health issues.

I heard that Pete shot some practice at the WI state shoot, but don't think he shot any events. I would have to agree with Pat on Daro and Pete. Nubs.
