I have just had a set of 29.5" Perazzi O/U barrels prepared by Briley for thin wall chokes. I plan to use the gun for various clay sports including trap, sporters, bunker and even some skeet. The question is what chokes should I have them send back. Briley makes chokes in 5 thousands increments. I was thinking either 40,30,20,10 and one or two 5s. I was also considering 35,25,15 and two 5s or one 5 and a 0. I would welcome suggestions and reasons why. Thanks and regards, Jake

For a do everything gun I would get 0 to 40 in .005" increments. I also agree that if you are shooting Sporting Clays/5 Stand that you should get the extended tubes.

You're in Australia if I remember right?

If you are required to shoot Bunker or Trap with 24 gram (~7/8 oz) loads I think that you will need the .040" for the 2nd shot.

Do you have to shoot non-plastic wad shells at any of the ranges there? If so you may need tighter chokes.

Money a problem? Get the tighter group you were considering, because of the Bunker shooting with 24 grm loads.
