In your opinion what is the best biodegradable bore cleaner for shotguns? I clean indoors so prefer non-toxic, non smell.

Clenzoil and forget it ... RGS will clean all of the fouling but then run a pad of Clenzoil to make it gleem and be protected ... Clenzoil can also be used on the wood, and leather ... I use it, I buy it by the case ... Its not just good, its great ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

Cheap whiskey is a good bore cleaner. However, that is predicated on what type of a bore you want tp clean.

WPT said it all. Clenzoil is the best by far. Does great job and no foul smell.

<blockquote><I>"Clenzoil is the best by far."</i></blockquote>The OP is looking for "biodegradable" and "non-toxic". I don't think that describes Clenzoil, as good as it might be.

    .

I've been told that cleaning bores is way over-rated.

That as long as light will still pass through the bore, it is good to go.

But wait, that was with rifle barrels.
