    Hello,
I was just thinking about pre-squading for the Grand this year, and it allows you to pick the section of line you want. So I was just wondering which banks does everybody like the most. I know most of them are similar, but are there any that are "better" than others?

    Sincerely, Osker Reynolds

Once you get there, what ever banks the all Americans are shooting, is normally the best banks. Most shooters will not say on this forum as they do not want all the best banks taken.

    Oskar,

I have shot at Sparta.. I don't see enough difference in the banks to not want to shoot any of them. There is a house in front of I think bank 8 (if not someone will correct me), but for the most part you have nothing but sky.

    I didn't think a 25 ought 5 would care as long as he wasn't stuck with a lowly 24.5 shootin a low-rent 3200 gun with a nick-name.

I'd look for the bank with the best lookin scorekeeper if I's was you.

I have had good luck at all the ATM's at the grand, but you probably are talking about a different type of bank. Jerry

I like Banks 11~12~13 and a certain "Big Dog" likes that general area as well. I have shot ahead and behind him on more than one occasion. I would wait until you got there and drive all 3.5 miles of Trap line and see for yourself though. I guess that is unless you are going to presquad. Really there is no "Bad" banks in my opinion and i've shot alot of them. I don't like banks 25~26~27 but thats me.

That certain "Big Dog" on one of those banks. Maybe that's his trick?

P.S. They look like they are having a terrible time.

    Oskar,

There are no bad banks, just some more preferred than others.

Thanks for the replies everyone, and Mr. Babin, I'm not on the 25.5 anymore, I broke a 95 on Sunday at Virginia and got another half yard. 1 more yard MR. Babin. I was wondering, would you like to squad together for the week out there?

    Sincerely, Osker Reynolds

I shot a bunch of events on banks 1 and 2 one year. The backgrounds are as good as any and they're really quiet with very few cars and carts whizzing around.

What is that blue thing in the picture?? Could that be shade??

We pre-squad banks 13 to 16. Only because it is closer to where we camp.

Only difference would be west end which has combo fields skeet/trap and that shouldn't be a bother. That also is where you will shoot your shoot offs.

    Good luck and enjoy.

    Don

Leo likes the trap in front of the Grandstand. Shoots there a lot in the evenings. Allen

The only bank I'd rather not shoot is #1. There must be 20 red bread trucks an hour that go by there. Just ask Mike Reed. LOL....LOST
