    Hi:
I have a Beretta 390 Trap, 30" barrel, mobile choke M & F, 8 oz. weights in front, and in stock, adjustable comb, in decent shape. Reasonable price.
    If interested, please email.
    Thanks, and best to you,
    Dave Swerdlin

Beretta. See post F/S 391 Teknys Gold Trap. Nice gun at a fair price.

None - They all hang without alot of maintanence on doubles.

If recoil is the factor, Heavy Gun + Light loads in a break open gun.

    Just my opinion.

Beretta 303: reasonably priced, low maintenance, shoots where you point it.

Why are you folks forgetting about the best trap auto of all times, the Remington 1100? Hands down, the simplest and best auto around. Just some of the new autos have more new fangled gadgets that impress some people. Ya can't beat the 1100, period!!!

If a straight trap stock is really important to you, then you should seriously consider the older remington 11-87 trap that comes with a factory back-bored 30 inch trap barrel with a step rib and choke tubes matched to the bore. I have to say that this is the softest shooting trap gun that I have shot out of the box. and the good news is they do not cost an arm and a leg. for what its worth. jm

Any,, a stock that fits you is more important than make, model or other such babble. I have Win., Ber and Rem semi-autos and like all them! Don't forget the fitted stock part, that's the most important part for shooting consistent scores with any choice!! Hap

Hap is correct. Fit or ability to fit should be #1. Any and all autos should not be hard for you to find and shoot if you go to a few clubs. Most guys are understanding, if you tell them your plans for an auto. Most likely they'll let you shoot a round with theirs or take some shots at least. Try to shoot them all. Buy the guy a coffee or soda for helping you out. I'd sooner buy a guy a soda than buy an 1100 off the shelf, only to find out that you and the gun were a bad match. Beretta AL 391 Urika Trap Optima, Tekneys Trap, Al 391 Parallel Target, Remington 1100 Trap Classic. I don't think Benelli makes a trap auto. Sporting auto, yes. That also may be something to thing about. Think about an all around clays auto, maybe that's a good fit for you. Just don't buy a junk auto. They won't hold up to the week after week pounding. If you're only gonna shoot a handful of target a year than that a different story.

I have to vote for the Win. Super X3. I shot a SBE II before and the SX3 is a great gun. It hits targets and birds much harder than the benelli and has less recoil.
