I have seem several methods of disabling the ejectors online. What's the general consensus for the best way to do it?

    Thanks in advance,

I went down to the hardware store and bought 2 light 2 1/4" long compression springs @ $1.39 and replaced the ejector hammer springs in the forearm hardware. 10 minute job and ejectors can be back in another 10 minutes. The ejector hammer guides have a notch on the end so you don't even have to drive out any pins. Now the hulls get a soft thunk which raises them about 2 inches or so (and then they slide back onto the ejector)when the ejector hammers fire instead of being launched out of the chambers and about 6 feet up.

You have to pull the stock, but I pull the Ejector trip rods. They are small L shaped rods that run thru the action on each side. John
