Just wondering how many shooters have shoot from the 16 with a .410 and what was your best score? I broke two 23's and 21 often. It's a lot of fun but you need to reload 410 ammo is high of course what isn't now!

The best that I witnessed was a 24. Good solid breaks and the one miss was rolling dust.

A fellow from NJ has been shooting his registered 16 yard targets and is trying to be the first to break a 100 straight. As far as I know, the best that he's done is a 98 but he may have had a 99 but no 100s yet.

Ed, they were standard skeet loads for the .410. It was a bet that many of us lost.....Bob

I know that when I shot with him, he told me that he was able to sell the empties for .10 each.

I once watched a gentleman brak a 10 or 11 with the .410 barrel of his Thompson/Center Contender!

I got a pair of 19's one night in a small league. Winchester Model 42 full choke plain barrel. Was getting 9 or 10 until I shot it at a target and found it was shooting about 80/20. If I don't shoot a gun once a year I get rid of it so I shoot the 42 once a year, then I have to keep it. Its very humbling to shoot a 410.

I shot 25 X 25 from the 16 with my granddaugers brand new 410, the first day we tried it. No one can vouch for it but her. Hence the handle "shot410ga." Just lucky or the trap gods smiled on me that day.

I shot with a shooter using a 410 o/u, at the VGCC Championship, on 2 August.
He had more then one 25! he shot 189/200. I ask him what his best score was and he told me a 99.

One 25. Many 24's and an average around 18-19. Straight-aways seemed to be my hardest target possibly due to holes in the pattern. PS ...I put the gun back in the safe after the 25 , 4 years ago! I heard there are some clubs on the West Coast that have 410 matches after the ATA shoots. Can't stir much interest in my area.
