A guy at our club had one of these for sale. It is in near new condition. Matte finish and it looked like synthetic stock and forearm but had a wood pattern. It had 28" barrels. Anyone have an idea on what this would be worth? Appreciate, John

Yes, it has 3 1/2" chambers. It is a pretty nice shooter. John

The owner is not sure, but he thinks it is worth around $1800. I don't know or how to find out. John James

John forget the messy Beretta gas-operated smokepole. Get yourself a REAL waterfowl gun....like, for instance, a Benelli Eagle or M2.

    HipShot,
I hate to tell you but the Extrema 2 is twice the gun any Benelli is. Way, way softer shooting, more reliable and better handling. Benelli's 3.5 inch gun is just there 3" gun hopped up. The Extrema 2 is built from the ground up to be a 3.5" gun. The benelli is a great gun but the extrema 2 has brought semi's to a new standard.

Do the Extrema 2 barrels shoot to the left like many of the Extrema 1 barrels did?

The gun was made for 2 short periods. The first with fixed chokes and weighed about 7.5 lbs. The second is choke tubes and will cost about 200.00 more. Check the wood again. This wood usually is really nice and similiar to eell quality. The guns were very limited production as new they cost in the 2,200 to 2,500.00 range and were also made in s/s which are more rare. If the gun is in really good shape 1,800.00 is a good buy. I have no knowledge of chamber length but who wants to shoot a 3.5 inch shell in a 7.5 lb gun. Good luck

    Any help?

Joel Etchen has the 686 Onyx Pro 28" X-tra Wood for $1495 NIB. He did have some 3.5"'s for approx $50 more.. I also saw the 3.5" model at Cabelas for $1599 NIB. I wouldnt pay more than $1200 or so for a near perfect gun.

    MX, Mike,

Thank you for the information. This gun is for sale from a local private estate, and I will know more about the condition once I see it.

Owner said it was $3800.00 new. Is that close?

There is one on the refuge forums for sale for $950. The guy said it has never been hunted with only shot at clays a few times.
