Well i had one of those impulse buys on Friday and walked out of the gun shop with a UGB. You know how that goes--I'm a sucker for the odd stuff! Rained out yesterday at the Trap club, so I shot 5 rounds of low gun skeet with the mod. tube in the gun. It incinerated those targets and worked flawlessly. I was impressed! Very mild recoil and I was able to set the gun up to fit me--I'm a lefty. Easy to load and a surprisingly good trigger pull! Being recoil operated the mechanism stayed clean and it was a cinch to clean. On a number of occasions--out of sheer habit--as I broke the gun open I moved my hand to catch the empty--but it was gone--ejected out the bottom about 2-4 feet in front of me. I know it was a lot of $$$$$, but if it holds up to heavy shooting, it will be worth it. I do believe this gun would make a great sporting clays gun too! I'm looking forward to trap targets next week. If you get a chance to shoot one--please give it a try. I think you'll like it!!!

For me, an impulse buy is a $.75 Snickers bar.

    For you, it's a $3000 shotgun.

    Must be nice!

I'm already moving some "stuff" out the door to recoup most of the cost.........you know--new stuff comes in and there is something gathering dust that someone else can love for awhile!!!

Is the skeet field covered? When it rains on our trap field, ditto the skeet.

If they ever develop cycling issues they will become the most expensive tomato stakes you have ever seen. I have shot one and was impressed by it but the price is a little steep for me. Jeff

Do crowds gather when you show up at the field? Are you getting a lot of: "Can I pick it up?"

I got the gun on Friday. Saturday was a monsoon. Trap club closed up. Today was cold, windy and clear. The few guys who were at the skeet fields(different club BTW) looked it over and several tried a few shots. They were impressed with how it pointed targets and crushed them. At Station 4--the center shot--it moved smoothly to the target. On 6 and 7. I shot the doubles in reverse, letting the modified choke do the work. To the lefty above--I'm a lefty and this gun is a natural for us southpaws. Even the safety is reversible. I've give s trap shooting report in the next couple of weeks.

The hulls are kicked out the bottom so it will work just fine for the folks who are left handed. Jeff

    Hey Boomer,

What is the POI of this gun? An approximation is all that I need to know.

    Thanks,

    ec90t

Nice gun. I like the looks of it. I wanted one a year ago and it wasn't out yet. So I got a Teknys Gold Target. Nice gun but not as unique as your BGU25.
    Good luck with it.

I'll be the first to ask the most important question:

WHO'S MAKING A RELEASE TRIGGER FOR IT?

Hang a bag under it, like the ones they uses on horses in the cities LOL

I handled one and liked very much its weight, feel, fit and finish. Good luck with it, I believe you will enjoy it.
