I bought one when first came out. Bought straight stock. Had comb and Gracoil installed. Wood wasn't same on outside as was underneath(believe some are saying same of KX6). Seemed to shoot a different place every item gun was broke down and put back together. Sold it to my dad. Same issues. He had a Allem's roller installed, but still had issues. He sold it to another guy who played and worked with it for weeks. Same issue. He said something to a rep at state shoot and he said to send it back as the first few had fitting issues. Haven't hears anyrhing since. I liked the feel of the, but couldn't trust it to shoot it. Would love to try a DT11 X-trap, but that one issue gave me a bad taste of Berreta. Also had an Xtremma turkey gun when they came out early 2000's. Claim no recoil with 3 1/2". A 2 3/4 load kicked more than a 3" in my 11-87. Still have my 11-87!! I love my 725, and bought a second one already. Sold my CG Summit trap I like the 725 so much. Just my experience with a SV-10. Hope you have better luck with one if purchased.
I bought an SV-10 Trap with 30" barrels back in 2012 that I use for bunker. Overall it has been an excellent gun. The only issue that I have had involved a broken inertia lever spring (this occurred last month and the gun has over 50000 shells through it). Almost all of the trigger parts are the same as the 680 series so they are readily available. It shoots well and apart from when the spring broke I never had any malfunctions.
I bought an SV-10 Prevail 1 Trap with 32" barrels and monte carlo stock in June 2013 and really like this gun. I put a little over 21K rounds through it and then the 2nd barrel wouldn't fire. Sent it back to Beretta USA and got it back in 2 1/2 weeks, door to door. Great customer service. They replaced a broken inertia rest spring and bent pin. I like the way this gun fits me and how it feels to shoot. Points well, swings smoothly with good balance, and has very little perceived recoil. Before this gun, I shot a Browning Special Edition Sporting Clays with 30" barrels. Now when I go back to the Browning it has more perceived recoil and I just don't shoot it as well. I have not had any problems with it shooting to a different place after breaking down, as someone else mentioned. As long as I do my job it breaks the target every time. I would buy another one without hesitation and recommend it highly.
