Does anyone have or know where an excellent condition Beretta SO5 is for sale?
Looking for 30" or 32" barrels sporting or trap model. Thanks for looking.

32" barreled SO5 Sporting were VERY rare. At one time, Joe Cantey had the only 2 in the US. Don't know about trap...

Super gun! In 1939, Ernest Hemingway walked into a gun shop in Venice and bought a nice engraved SO3 off the shelf. He used it the rest of his life for hunting and pigeon shooting! Just thought you might find this interesting!.........He killed himself with a sidexside Boss shotgun!

Only two in the US at one time? I think Joe was feeding you a line of B.S.

Try J.T.H agency, www.jthagency.com, he had one with 32" barrels but don't know if it's still available.

You can also try the Beretta Gallery stores.

Joe told be that some dozen years ago. I think he bought one from a dealer in Tennessee. I believe the other came from the Beretta Gallery in NY. He bought the second for a back up. He subsequently decided he didn't need it and sold it. Can't remember the details anymore but I'd bank on what Joe tells me.

I know I tried 5 years ago to find 32" Boehler SO barrels for a 30" SO5 and there were none to be found according to Cole and Beretta.
