Am I reading it right that the Optima European skeet (red band) is even more open than the Optima Cylinder choke?

I am assuming its possible because its an extended choke. First... is it true that the European skeet is more open than cylinder?

Second... How can it be of any use if its less constriction than the cylinder. Just shoot the cylinder if you are looking for most open. It is not registering with me on how it can help the shooter how a choke that is less than the cylinder has any benefit.

I don't get it, can someone with more knowledge help me out?

Yes...Optima bore is .732" and Euro Skeet is .759"

That's .027" negative constriction, although mine patterns closer to Cylinder with hard shot.

    Now go pattern your gun.
