I own a 30 year old Beretta 682 Trap and a new 682 Gold E. The ejector on the old gun really flips out the empty while the new one not nearly as much. Anyone experience anything like this, not that it's a problem?

Sounds like just a difference in the ejector springs in the barrel. My 682 Gold would really flip them out hard and I cut the springs down to make them easier to catch. I'll bet if you traded checked the springs you would find ligher (or cut down) springs in the new one.
