Friend just picked up a used DT-10 O/U. The gun has brand new wood on it. Shooting the bottom barrel only, the ejector won't release untill you have opened the gun completely and then start to close it ever so slightly. If you shoot both barrels, both ejectors work perfectly. The barrel selector will not move to shoot the top barrel first and when we loosened the stock bolt, we could not get the wood off the receiver.

Nobody wanted to mess up his new gun, but any experienced DT-10 users have any suggestions? No one at the range had any other ideas besides the big hammer theory. Thanks

I'd say the stock needs to be fitted a little better. The stock will come off, but you may have to smack it with a leather mallet in order for it to come loose. A good stock guy can fit it correctly.

Do you think the tight stock is causing the other problems?

Most DT-10's have a small screw in the barrel selector that has to be removed to move the barrel selector to the other barrel, sounds like the ejector timimg is off does the serial number on the barrel match the receiver,it may not have been fitted properly if it's not the original barrel.Jerry

I think Jerry right one. Take the gun to a gun smith and have him look at it.

The above two commnets on right on... check that little screw it will have to be re-set or removed. Be careful not to drop it. It is very tiny. Fred
