I remember seeing a chart someplace showing the manufacture date codes for Berettas. A search here did not turn it up. Anyone know where I can find this information?? Thanks.

Go to their FAQ and it should be there.

And its shown on Beretta's website, but it is applicable to all arms made in Italy. It's the Italian Proof House code stamping.

I have two Beretta shotguns, one of the serial numbers begins with the letter M and ends with the letter E, the other begins with N and ends with E, am I right to assume that the first one was made in 1984 and the other in 1985?

    Berettaman7,

The date codes are 2 letters together stamped on the barrel.

    Jason:

I just checked my two Beretta´s and there are two letters ¨BB¨ stamped on the barrels of both my Beretta A303´s which means they were manufactured during 1992.

    Thank you for the info.

    mpipster,

If they do the same thing with the "B's" they did with the "A's" CA would be 2006.
