beretta choke tubes

    I have a Beretta 686 onyx with flush choke tubes and i am not sure but I have some optima choke tubes for my 391 i woul;d like to know if these are interchangeable

    If your 686 is the sporting model they will interchange. If it is a field grade they are different.

    the 391 is a field gun Pheasants forever and the 686 is ducks unlimited dinner gun

    Just stand them up side by side and see if the threads and the tube length (before threads) are the same. If they are, they will interchange. If one is an Optima and the other Mobile, the difference will be very apparent.

    Since the original poster has both guns and both sets of choke tubes in his possession, it should be a simple matter to see if the choke tubes will interchange. If the tubes will screw in and out easily in either gun, they DO interchange. If they don't, they don't. Pretty simple really.
