I have a 687 Top Single that needs to have the holes for the locking lugs either TIG welded & machined or have a set of inserts installed. Currently the top lever is pretty much centered when closed. Occasionally the gun will open when discharged. About 2 years ago I had the #3 locking latch installed. I believe this is the largest one available. I'd like to hear from others that have had this type of work done & who they used & would recommend. For those who had TIG work done, how did the re-bluing turn out?

    Thanks, Lyle

I would suggest you call Cole gunsmithing in Harpswell Maine. He is Beretta factory trained and does excellent work at reasonable prices. Dale
