Measure it or pull the barrel off, turn it over and on the back end there will be a number stamped that will be centimeters, convert it to inches. that is what it's supposed to be bored at. GOOD LUCK

I just happen to have an extra 30" step-rib fixed full choke 390 barrel sitting right here. It's stamped 18.4 which converts to .725" bore, but I haven't actually measured it with a bore gauge which the only way to be sure. I think pre-Optima Beretta barrels tended to be on the tight side of standard- certainly not overbored- at least, that's what I've always heard, so it must be true, right? James Fawcett

I just sold my 390 Golden Mallard and it was .004 narrower than my Optima.

Assuming it is a standard Mobile Choke barrel, according to this list it is .723, but mine measures .725.

1 mm = .0394" so 18.3 x .0394 = .721" which is a mite snug, I think. I have always heard that Italian manufacturers traditionally tended towards snug bores and tight chokes. James Fawcett
