I just bought a used 686 that has been set up with a release/pull trigger. My question is how do I remove the trigger assembly to change it back to pull/pull. Does the stock have to be removed? Thanks in advance.

Yes the stock has to be removed, and depending on how the release was designed controls if you can remove it or not, if it was welded ( or silver soldered in ) you better have a smith do it, if it was put in with a screw ( like the ones from speers ) it can be removed with a screw driver, and will then shoot as a pull.

I was told that it could be switched back and forth between release and pull. I will remove the stock and take a look. Thanks.
