I have a Beretta 682 Gold E Combo and when opening the single barrel during the last couple of shoots every once in a while the ejector will not want to push the shell out. In fact the barrel is very hard to break open because of this. Does anyone have any idea what the problem is?

    Thanks,

    -Chris

what kind of shells are you using, we have had simular problems when using RIO's especally the Green ones, they stick in the chamber and cause that same problem...

when you say the ejector will not push the shell out, does this mean you have disabled the ejector and now the gun only extracts? Berettas have a serious spring on their ejectors and I have difficulty imagining not kicking a shell out. If you have disabled the ejector or the ejector is not tripping... what does the O/U do?

When guns are hard to open, usually due to the firing pin hanging up and not retracting as the gun opens. this situation will leave a real mark on the primer if it occurs.
