Can anyone tell me how and where I can get a comb updated hardware to replace the plastic junk that Beretta installed on the gun for comb adjustment. How much can I expect to pay for this repair to the 682 E ? Tom

See the link above. If you can remove and replace 8 screws yourself it will cost you 79 bucks plus shipping.

Graco makes a drop in replacement as well.

I guess I'm unique. I actually like the Beretta Memory System. It adjusts 6 ways and doesn't need any washers to keep it in place. It's very strong and will outlast any three guns.

To each his own I guess. I'll be more than happy to take your old hardware if you don't want it.

Rastoff, I am with you. I have my 682 gold e for 4 years now and I never had any problem. Why kick a sleeping dog. Better yet, why spend the money to have it changed? I guess I am from the old school, I set it where I liked it and didn't touch it again. Works fine and last long time.
