Someone at the gun club is selling a Beretta 680 30" O/U Trap - imp-mod/full (fixed chokes) with monte-carlo stock. Everything appears to be original. What is the value of this gun?

Mike: If the gun is in very nice condition, (no serious scratches, rust etc) and if you shoot it well; I would think it should bring $1000- $1350 . However, if it is at your local gun club, I would request that the seller would allow you to shoot a couple of rounds through it. If it feels right and you can hit the targets, you might "bend" a little and give him a FEW $$ extra; if he demands it. What hurts the gun is naturally the fixed chokes. However, if you don't intend to use it for sporting clays or skeet; you can live without the choke tubes. JMHO. Good Luck. Ed
