My sons 391 was really carboned up to the point that I had to disassemble all the barrel gas parts.

Upon assembly of the threaded sleeve, I noticed the end is cut away half on the end. The lugs will fit either way and I can't find any information if it goes with the cut out portion facing the barrel or forarm???

Anyone know if it makes any difference??

    Thanks.

    Regards....Gerald

It faces the forearm but will work either way. Good luck.

Go to Beretta's website and pull the schmatic on the 391. It will show you the correct way to put it back. It might work either way, but it isn't designed for that. Been there done that. Fixed the problem.
