Just wanted to display a recent 391 that we built for a sporting clays shooter. The wood is English Walnut and the barrel has been converted with our adjustable rib system. Thank you for taking a look,

    Dennis,

That is one pretty trap, oh I mean sporting gun. I'd have a hard time swinging that one in the woods.

Magnificent, Dennis. So is the checkering - take a look at the forearm, guys. That takes special talent, too.

The gun like what is shown would sell for about $ 4,000. That would include the gun.

The rib is 7/8" high sloped to 1/2" in the front. Total with the hardward the rib is setting about 1-1/16" off of the top of the barrel. It really allows the shooter to see around the gun and get a clearer sight picture. More and more sporting clays shooters are looking at the parallel stocks and higher ribs. The poi with the rib all the way against the barrel is 9" high.

    Bluedotman,

All the pricing for our work is listed on our web site under the custom stock page. The wood ranges in price but wood like what is dispalyed is $ 1,200 when it is available. Good English Walnut is getting tough to find. If you find a piece of wood on your own we will carve someone elses wood.
