Experiencing a problem with a shell stuck in the magazine and not cycling after the first shot. This happen a few months back in the middle of a sporting clay round. Upon returning home, removed end cap from magazine and easily pushed stuck shell out with a dowel. Reassembled gun, loaded chamber and magazine and gun functioned perfectly.

Shot couple more rounds of sporting in the last few months with no problems. Yesterday was back on the course and halfway through the round and again, stuck shell in the magazine.

Any advice on what's going on and how to fix it??

What kind of shells are sticking??? Were both from the same lots, or different lots, if made by same company??? Break-em all. Jeff

The shells are reloads, loaded on a Spolar. The two times that shell stuck they were old style AA's.

Sounds like the rim of the shell has become too large either through the resizing process or just being fired and extracted. First thing is verify that it is an ammo problem and not a gun problem. Shoot a flat or so of factory loads and if you have zero issues then you can consider it a shell problem.

Had two friends who were having a similar problem. Boiled down to the carrier being the old flat style. Cole changed them to the old bent 390 carriers and now both cycle flawlessly so far. Worth a look anyway.
