1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

Hi Guys, I am selling my 390 Beretta sporting. It has 390 Gold wood with a 4 way adjustable comb. This gun has a carey closer attached and a complete set of Beretta extended choke tubes.

This gun was never used to shoot trap or sporting clays but was my hunting as gun. The barrel shows some wear as a result. The gun has not fired more then 1000 rounds but since it was used for hunting the barrel has some wear.

The price is firm at 1000.00 plus freight. If I can not get a buyer the parts will be sold as follows.

The action will be sold for 375 including the trigger and all non wood parts.

The wood set will be sold for 450.00. The comb will cost you 250.00 and it's Gold wood and it is very pretty.

    The barrel will be 250.00

So let me get this straight. You bought that wood from BAD 303 on this board in May for $175 and put on your 390. Now you want to sell it for $450? Seriously?

thats why I only offered him 350.00... just had a feeling that he didnt have that much invested into the wood. Anyways this is a free country, if somebody is willing to pay 450.00 than it is what it is!

Here is a copy of teh PM I sent the guy who said he wanted to buy the wood at less then a full price offer after stating he wood take it on the thread.

I take it you are wanting to back out on your offer to buy the wood? You are somethingh else friend. You tell me on the thread you will take the wood when at the same time you send me a PM with an offer that is less then my asking price. Now you want to complain about where the wood came from? a 390 sporting with Gold wood is worth the amount I put the parted out prices at.

I had many people who were inqurying about the wood with lots of questions left to answear. I informed them the wood set was sold. I did this because you said you would buy the wood.

So what are your plans at this point? I took you at your word, with a less then full price offer. Your shitting all over my thread is not only making you look like an ass but it is hurting the rest of the buyers as I am not selling any of it without it all being sold.

I got a great deal on the wood and so are you at 400.00

The question is weathe ro not your are a man of your word at this point. I and all the others await your response.

I have decided to recant at this point. I do not do business with people I do not like and I have decided this mans actions are not in keeping with the kind of people I do business with. I have been on this site for over 10 years and have sold and purchsed hundreds of items over the years. I made money on somethings and I have lost money on othe things. I will put this wood on Gunbroker.com and it will be listed for 600.00 dollars and it will sell for that amount. Why? because that is less then half what it would cost to replace it. 400.00 was 1/3 of the price to replace it.

What I paid for it means nothing.

Another guy who spoke up has now dropped off. here is his PM

    Jeff,

due to all of this turmoil and indecision I am withdrawing my offer to buy.

    I have gone another direction.

Thank you, and good luck with whatever you decide to do.
