Hope some of you folks could help with a machine problem.
Beomat trap machine would not release from button. Released arm, now it will not cock. Both motors run normally. Any ideas?
Thank in advance for any help or ideas before calling CA.

There are several things that could do this? check to be sure the clutch is working. Also check the relay & timer inside the control box. More info would be helpful.. The best resource if needed is to call Al at Replacement Parts and he will hook you up with Paul, he is very good. One thing it could also be is - check to make sure the elevator cam is not in a bind. The screws that hold it up into place can come loose and cause it not to cock.

Boy, a memory test and that ain't good. If you released the arm from the spring tension, don't you need to "start" the arm again manually? I am usually on the other end of the machine and we've not had to release the arm in over a year. Let us know how you make out, maybe some one brighter will be able to remember so they can help in the future. Good luck, Bob
