I have an add-a-rib right now from "Stock Positioning Systems".

I know there is a need for an adjustable rib for combo sets b/c you pattern the O/U then use the rib on the sngle to dail it in etc.

    2 part question here:

1-But for someone who just has an O/U is there any benfit to having an adjustable rib?

2-Let's say whith a sporting O/U used for trap will an adjustable rib help compensate for the stock drop that's in a "sporting" style stock?

For the most part,an adjustable rib will not help in its self. You would need an adjustable stock also. You set the piont of impact with the stock and adjust the rib for sight picture you want, bead on bead, figure 8,some rib between. At least thats the way it was told to me, Iam sure other shooters have other ideas...Ray
