Good news for USA shooting. Glenn Eller wins the Bronze medal in doubles trap in Belgrade.

He did it the hard way. Had to win a shoot-off with three others (36 targets)to qualify for the final round, then had to shoot off with two others (4 targets) to win the bronze.

Other USA shooters Josh Richmond finished 19th with a 143 and Jeff Holguin (perazziuser) finished 37th with a 139.

    Way to go Glenn!!!

Hopefully that gets us our second quota place for the Olympics.

Not to be outdone, Billy Crawford wins the Juniors doubles trap, followed by Derek Haldeman in 5th and Ian Rupert in 7th.

Looks like they'll win the team gold, too.

    Good day for the USA.

I'm glad to see Glenn rise again, it looked like he had fallen back since winning his gold in China. Nothing is as exciting as watching the top double trap men smoking those pairs of flash targets time after time.... thx TimB

Unfortunately the only quota available went to the winner from China.

Not only did Billy Crawford win the Jr. event, he did it with a 147/150, a new Doubles World Record for Jrs. and that also helped the USA win the team event.
