Someone posted a thread recently with a video about a gay Marine in full dress uniform who talks like a girl and has a moustache.

Why is it that most gay guys have moustaches or goutees?

Is everyone with a moustache or goutee gay?

Time for me to get out the clippers and the razor.

    Pete

That was not a Marine. It was a spelling error. His name was Marion. "Be a Marion Today". He's also a member of the new Village People II.

What is this thing some people have about a gay Marine? I was a Marine and I never met or knew of a gay Marine. If there were any, they sure didn't make it known to the rest of us.

Mystic: I don't think so. The Marine Corps is maybe the most Macho organization that has ever existed. They take care of their own. And you can be assured if someone doesn't fit in with the Fire-team, Squad, Platoon, or Company, the young Marines in the unit will take care of the issue. And it won't be very nice. Oh! And the senior NCO's and Officers will look the other way, while it's happening.

If they are smart and just want to serve their country like the rest they would keep their sexuality to themselves like they always have. The marines have definitely turned out some big, tough homosexuals with all the rest. They have always been there. Neil

Why should our warriors have to deal with this, isn't their job tough enough?
    What a crock!

You "feel good people" think of this.......what if it was YOUR son or daughter that has to deal this, on top of protecting their life, performing their duty, and serving their country.

It is unfair to THEM to put them in this position.

I don't care who is gay or who isn't, just don't complicate a life threatening situation by creating a distraction when complete concentration is required.

Partygirl, what I am saying is that marines lives aren't so pathetic and uneventful that they will now just be consumed with the hatred of gays by the repeal of don't ask don't tell. It won't be a big deal unless someone makes it one. Neil

It will be a big deal for the first fudgepacker that wants to be blatantly openly gay. (I seriously doubt if there are gay marines)

He will probably need a trip to the othodontist.

Why a trip to the orthodontist. His partners will then likely get the real feel-from either end!!

Not all gay men are fembots. Many are extremely macho as they would have to be if they wanted to be a marine. The other thing to keep in mind is that currently there are gay men in all the branches of the armed forces and it isn't a new thing at all. Most of them go undetected as they are wise enough to keep their professional life separate from their personal life. This is a good idea regardless of sexual orientation or profession and most adults don't seem to have a problem handling themselves in this manner.
