Some out there might remember the Bee Gees---

A few yrs ago, maybe 10 or so they had a special on New Yrs eve with most of their hits----It was great and I'v tried to find a replay and so far no luck.

Right after them Neil Diamond had a 1 hr special and it was great also.

I'd appreciate if anyone could find that special or a way that I could.

    Thanks----George

It is called "One Night Live" and can be found on the web. If you know what a torrent is, Ive heard you can find it there, so I'm told.

The thing I remember about the Bee Gees was driving cross country in the mid 70s and not being able to escape their music anywhere. It just went from one radio station to the other. I think it must have been an FCC rule that their music had to be played.

My most favorable Bee Gee memory was when they had the "Disco Sucks" night at Comiskey Park and they blew up their records.

Can't believe I'm admitting to this, but when I hear one of their songs now, I don't seem to mind it so much.

I grew up in the '70's and was in jr. high when disco peaked. I have to admit I enjoy listening to it. Perhaps more for the nostalgia than the music but for me it was a good time. I wish I could have been a little older and went to the clubs. What a time before AIDS and other real nasty STD's.

    Death before disco!

Well thats what we use to say, but we were also Dead Heads in that era. Gotta admit the Brothers Gibb had a great sound and more talent than most of todays 'musicians'. Even kind of entertaining to watch John Revolta in SNF.

I don't think Creedence ever made it to the top like the Bee Gees---I'm told they were peace-niks---Love-Peace-Harmony ---JMO----SJB

TNX Bulge! Great concert. Nothing like three part harmony on a good ole fashion love song for this ole man. However, I like Girls, Girls Girls by the Crue also.
