I must confess. When I first saw the thread I was going to call BULL$HIT as I have lived in Texas a while and worked all over the state from El Paso to Houston to Teaxarkana to Fannin county, and I always felt the most beutiful thing I ever saw in Texas was crossing the State line back in to Oklahoma on my way back to Missouri. These pics were better than I had expected!

I was in West Texas on a wild Pig hunt last Oct. and it was a very nice area, this coming from someone who lives in Alberta. A lot of places that we hunted remind me of Alberta. Trevor Dawe

    Terrific photos.

One question from one who has been in several cities in Texas (Dallas, Houston, San Antonio). I loved all those places, although I did think Houston was a bit hot in the summer.

Where in Texas does it snow ? Should I assume in the North, where it might be a bit cooler.

    ljutic231,

No, I didn't get dipped. I tried to leave Texas in the middle of the night because all those Texans had passed out from drinking too much Lone Star!

I was in San Antonio in August one time and it was 109 degrees. We visited some friends there this winter and it was perfect weather. Looks like it will remain a winter spot for us.
