    Bear Problem Gone, Now it

    blade819_2008_030321.jpg

Now my wife reports that the bears haven't shown their faces for 3 nights. This morning she had a flock, group, herd, gathering of wild turkeys. I guess I either need to move to the big city, or, invite some of my trap shooting buddies over to lock n load.

They have talons though Bill. I have been attacked by a Tom at the Sioux Falls Isaac Walton Trap club. I climbed into my 4 runner and he got up on the hood to try to get me and scratched the hell out of it. Got photos somewhere

CC2000, I thought they were called a "spur" located on the back/side of the legs up abit from the feet. They do know how to use them well. Roosters have a simular spur and thats their main weapon in cock fights. Break-em all. JEff

Apparently you guys weren't at the 2008 Dixie Grand. My tukey story made the rounds. Motorhome ran into a flying 30 pounder. Busted in the passnegers window and almost caused me to roll the motorhome while on the Interstate near Woodstock GA. Now when I see them the first thing on my mind is KILL!

If they ran off the bears those must be some bad ass turkeys.

I dunno where you're at, but if you're in Oregon I'll get a fall turkey tag and give you a hand.
