I was in Bass Pro in Pearl (Jackson) Ms. yesterday and they had shot at the low prive of $52.00 a bag. Needless to say, I did not load up!

    Wow,
With tax that is almost $55 a bag I bet. I can certainly buy shells for alsmost the same price. Glad I have 18 bags of shot in my basement! If anyone is interested I will sell them for $45 a bag!

    .

Our local trap club sells 25 pounds of lead shot to members for $20 per bag with the purchase of four tickets.

If you shoot a 100 Straight, they will carry the bag to your truck for you.

They have had that shot for years at the nearest bass pro in Auburn, NY. That was from when the shot really got up there.

The bags have dust on them, they are old. I presume its the same at your store. I get a chuckle out of it and they really don't seem to care.

Heck, the last time I looked at shot at Bass Pro the shot was about $60 a bag. The one by us no longer carries any reloading components anymore. I wonder why!!! Now they opened a Gander Mountain by us and they have reloading supplies, but alas they are still 35-40 percent higher than I'm willing to pay. Its nice to be able to walk in and get some Mec bushing without have to order them and pay shipping, but I don't think it will last long before they close up the reloading area for different items that will sell. Break-em all Jeff

Picked up a bag at our local distributor at $34.00 and he told me the next shipment will be $38.00 and no end in sight for high prices.

They've been over $50 here in Chicagoland for over a year. As far as I can tell its the same couple of bags they've had since they opened. Bass Pro here is WAY too expansive for just about eveything gun or shooting related.

I thought it was just our Canadian Bass Pro that had lost their minds on shot prices.

Bass Pro here in Calgary has 7 1/2 on for CDN$69.00 per bag, and "exotic" sizes like 8, and 9 for CDN$72.00. They have a few layers of dust on them, needless to say.

    US$1.00 = CDN$0.98 (today's rate)

I am no fan of Bass Pro. They do no favors for the sporting crowd. Kind of like shopping at needless mark up (Neiman Marcus). Same stuff twice the price. I have shopped there bunches never buy anything, its always over priced. Rather pay the shipping for MidwayUSA orders. At least they seem to support the shooting sports
