Mass bass pro went there Superbowl time, was asked what would make my shopping experience better? I said quantity pricing. When I went there they were selling 209 primers buy the 100 for 6.50. I just called to check up on this. They now have STS 209 for 54.95 per 1000. I asked about 5000pc case,,,,,,274.75. Why is it with such great buying power do they charge so much more?

Or, rather than reload, you can visit the Rural King store in Rantoul, Illinois and stock up on AA trap loads for only $9.99 a box.

Hey, I bought 1000 Win 209s from OakTree the other night and it cost me $37 and change. Now OakTree is not WalMart by a long shot. Don't get me wrong, I love the place and the people who work there but discount is not part of their operation. So when you tell me Basss Pro is getting over $50 per thousand I think that's freeken robbery.

There are a heck of a lot of people who don't comparison shop and who feel that BPS is the be-all and end-all of sporting goods and if that's what something costs at BPS then that's what it costs.

These are the people who have bought from the catalog for years and just continue when a retail store opens within driving distance. BPS, Gander and Cabelas depend on this loyalty for a significant chunk of their business.
