barrel rest

    How are the barrel rest attached, they look like a bayonet lug, are they removeable? who sells them? thanks Butch H

    I believe they are available from Meadow Industries. They are held in place by a double sided tape. They can be removed with a heat gun.

    if you buy one make sure to properly clean the barrel really good on the outside first then warm the barrel with a hair dryer and then apply it and heat a little more before applying the rubber bands and leave overnight. i have used one for 10 years and it never came off.

    Steve- I did not think about the gun fitting into a gun case with a barrel rest. Very good point. Did you happen to have an unpleasant experience with this?
