    Hi guys
I was wondering what the school of thought was in the preferred balance of a trap gun. Some guys like neutral balance, others prefer a bit butt heavy for greater barrel speed, others prefer slightly barrel heavy for a smoother swing. your thoughts?

It is largely a personal thing. I like a fairly heavy trap gun (8.5 pounds or more) slightly barrel light (I find my Beretta 687 with the new 682 barrels ideal in this regard). But some like a barrel heavy, or neutral balance. Depends entirely on what works for you.
