I shot one last week 13 miles from Pgh PA. It seems they are everywhere. I got one last year within 1/4 mile of last weeks dog.

I have gotten three on my place. One at the barn and two west of the house. A 308 does a nice job on then.

Those coyotes are everywhere. I have been working with a fella from Decatur Illinois and he told me he's seen the same coyote everyday trotting on the other side of the interstate between two signs at the same time each morning. I know we in Champaign have a problem with them getting the small pets that are left out in the yards at night. Many people have reported the missing pets and injured ones. They even did a news special on it with channel three news. I think a twenty two long rifle with hollow point will work. Dan

I have not seen any in the yard but we sure do hear them when we are in the hot tub at night.

Coyote hunting from a hot tub - how decadent! LOL<br>

My favorite hunting is for coyotes. I prefer it to deer hunting. But you can eat venison. I don't recommend eating coyotes.

I hear the coyote run past my house all the time in the suburbs of Chicago. They run down the paths of the powerlines. Just a couple weeks ago a herd of skunks crossed the street in front of me as I left work. At least 10 of them.

Skunks always get the right of way...
