AZ State Championship Pictures & Review

Here's my review & pictures of day one of the 2012 AZ State Championship. And really it was no different than any of the dozens of other times I've shot at the Ben Aver CTC just north of Phoenix, AZ.

And by that I mean blue skys, sunshine, friendly people, and Dan Twitchell's entertaining targets.

My squad had the honor (horror) of starting on station number three, a true pair coming off a high tower. Any time you can see the tower from the freeway two miles away, you know it's going to be interesting.

The first pic is my friend Leonard, his new Toy Hauler, and my rental car (somebody at Hertz likes me), and the last pic is of my dinner.

Now I'm relaxing at the Fort McDowell Indian Resort & Casino (somebody there likes me too)

Thanks for posting I enjoyed the pictures-- My brother inlaw just bought a place in Scottsdale I'm going to try and shoot thier somtime. Looks like a nice place to get away from the Montana winters and do some shooting.

Nice Pics. Thanks! I like to shoot Sporting Clays off and on with Trap. Might be a trip to make sometime. Your trailer is nice. What kind? I'm looking for a good 18' to 20' tandem for shoots and fishing travel.

It's my buddy's trailer. I'll find out for you.

The back folds down, and he can pull his golf cart inside. It's pretty cool.

    Try the link above.
