Rats with wings is what my friend in New York calls them.

We were ling cod fishing with live bait several years ago and at the end of the day had quite a few anchovies left over. on the way back to the pier a young kid was throwing the bait up in the air so the gulls could catch and eat them. I warned the kid that really wasn't a good idea and he just gave me a nasty look. A few minutes later, I warned him again and his dad jumped my azz. About two minutes later the gull unloaded and put a racing stripe on the kid from his crotch to the top of his head, including in his open mouth. I laughed for the whole ride in. Two nice ling cod, a limit of rockfish and a damn good laugh. Great day on the water.

In Junior High a gull nailed the vice-principal right in the forehead in front of half the student body at lunch. Was one of the funniest things I've ever witnessed.

Wait until you're running down the lake at 60 plus in a bass boat and have a pelican dump one on the front deck. You talk about a white-wash. Didn't know one bird could have so much chit in it.
