Where I'm at in Illinois it's just a drizzel of rain with heavy fog that is keeping the sun off the 6 inches of slush on the ground. What a mess we are having here. I think I would like a nice snow if I were in your shoes. I know this is the rainy season for the southwest I thought last year you guys had a pretty extended drought. Am I correct there? Make the most of your water for now, I'm thinking we will have a backup and be filling the basements around here:( Dan

Why is it that as soon as it hits the Us/Canadian Border, the weather disappears? Don't Canadians get weather too?

    Jack,

You're just not living far enough NORTH!! It seems the last few years, all of the major snow falls, fell from a line from St. Cloud to the Twin Cities and south.

So far we had only two good snows, 8 inches each, and they came before Christmas.

I think, so far, that I'll take the couple of weeks at -25, instead of having to push snow around every other day. When I get OLD like you, I may change my mind :)

Man - I'm getting tired of these 80 degree days. I rode my scooter to the beach again yesterday. Seems there is nothing to do here except go to the beach and shoot. Damn boring!!

here in lafayette we're having the weirdest day I've ever seen. last week we got 7 inches of snow, then rain during days exceeding 50 degrees, mow we have an extremely foggy day and a ground that is either covered with slush and/or water, and anywhere else the ground is sopping wet. it's almost like we're in a different world.

Bo, we never got sleet. It started snowing around noon here and it isn't supposed to quit until around noon Wednesday.

They say the real heavy snow won't hit here until sometime late this afternoon.

I looked to buy some mittens, but never found a pair that I thought was good enough. Oh well, I've used gloves my whole life, won't hurt me to use them again.

    Hauxfan!
