My Nephew just called me and said he hasn't received his new average card yet from the ATA. I got mine some time ago. Should we call or wait as he wants to shoot this weekend. He still has his receipt and the website says he is paid.

    Doug,

As long as he has his receipt, he'll be OK.

You might want to read the information on the above web URL before you call. I am with V10 on this one if he has his receipt he will be fine.

BTW calling them won't get the card delivered any sooner.

I live in Canada where it takes a week to get a letter delivered from the U.S.. I received my Life Member card last week but it has errors and I don't know when the replacement card will arrive. No Worries as we now have 5 inches of snow on the ground. Mistakes on the card may be a result of the ATA trying to get the new cards out to everyone sooner than before.

Cray, I'm in Calgary and I just got a replacement card in the mail but it still is missing scores from an August 15th shoot which just recently turned up on the Shooter Information website for 2009. I suppose the 2nd replacement ATA card will be sent in the mail soon.

EE, my Nephew is 12 and thinks being in the ATA is cool and wants his card that we paid to get. Getting stuff from the ATA may not be something to look forward to for you but to him it is very important. I asked the question to see if others have it or not. Geez right back at ya.

Doug tell your nephew to hang in there, and I know that is tough for a 12 year old, because a lot is happening at ATA at this particular time of the year and cards are slow coming out. A call might help especially for a 1st time 12 yr old.

some of these so called shooters would give you a smartass answer if you asked them what size socks they wore.

Do not expect much help from MS. Johnson. I did not get my card last year after sending in my money and I called her 3 times and e-mailed her at least 3 or 4 times and never heard a thing. I down loaded an application from the web and sent my money in again and eventually got my card.

10/16 still have not received my card, called and did not mean to put out the young lady but just asked and she said it will be in the mail. I felt like I shouldn't be bothering her.

BIG DON you hit yourself right on the head about yourself in your reply.

You give more than your share of smartass answers, talk about calling the kettle black.
