    Doug,

    Do you know if Saturday is sold out yet? I am thinking about driving down from Phoenix just for Saturday.

    This does not have any effect on me what so ever because I don't go down to Tucson but I got an E Mail from a friend who does and according to them the rules for getting a reserved spot down there for the bigger shoots has changed ... I got this E Mail below from a shooter friend who is down there ...

    T.J.

    Informational posting for RV participants that regularly attend the Spring Grand. In addition to paying your $110 parking fee you must also pay for the Spring Grand Warm up week or lose your right to your reserved space.

    T.J. please edit if not clear enough.

    Thank you.

    Well I think that is a bunch of bull. What if you aren't able to "live" at the gunclub? Shouldn't punish those that can't be there for two weeks. I hope it is not true.

    Anybody ever see a financial statement from the Tucson gun club?

    Always a question about where the money is going. Example - whatever happened to the stash of cash from the old Phoenix club?

    Maybe Tucson needs the extra money to run their program, or as investment income. Hope it is somehow being used to benefit the sport.

    Well Rick, I was just told by some guy that the price for the Spring Grand was $220, whether you are here for one day or two days or two weeks. They need to cater to the people that have supported the club. I guess 30 years of support doesn't count.

    Tommie;

    I'm not there, but I see by the Tucson Site, that on Friday there were 290 entries for the doubles, 338 for the handicap event and in todays 200 singles there were 368 entries. Don't know how that compares to previous years. Wished I was there. How come you're not?

    Tommie, Bless your heart, your aunt knows she can count on you!

    Yes, you are correct, "what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger".

    Take care.
