    The teachers union has come out in favor of prop 1a and 1b in the upcoming special election. Therefore, a NO vote is required...

    HA! I don't even know what those are, but speaking as a former California teacher, I'd have to agree with your assessment!

    They are tax initiatives designed to fund public school. As long as we are providing free lunch to illegals and breakfasts too, I'll never vote yes on one of these funding measures and I'm a teacher in CA. I might also add that LAUSD has a special gay prom and a special education program for gay teens. Lots of places to cut funding before we need a special bond measure.
