Sent my custom Super X-1 stock to Tron for an adjustable comb. Got it back in less than a week, and he did a great job. All the cuts were perfect, and he refinished all the cut edges. If you are in need of stock work, don't hesitate to send it to Tron. Thanks Joe.

I think Joe runs a slave "cat house"! Kitty does all the work, Joe sits in the easy chair all day with his feet up! Birdtracker

Heres a pic of the stock. A little radical. Some people say I have a f-d up face?

The entire gun, a SX-1 with Dave Berlet add on rib. My son made the wood with some tech help from Tom Smith. He sanded down the old trap forearm so it wasn't so clunky, and made a new stock to match the rib and my f-d up face, then stained and finished to match. I have bought a Moneymaker rib/barrel for this gun and it's a bit higher so I sent it to the "Tronster" to cut the comb. Gun shoots 90/10 as is now.

My, I feel all warm and fuzzy now! Well, since I lost my job at the Ford dealer last year, I put my hobbies to work for me and it worked out real well. My other biz venture "Joe's 30 and under outboard" is a lot of fun and keeps me busy when the gun stuff is slow. So, now I do 2 things that I enjoy...the dealer shuting down was actually a good thing and I'm glad to be out of the car racket. I have a lot of friends that managed to find jobs at other dealers and they're really having a hard time right now. They took MASSIVE cuts and the BS in the car repair biz has gotten out of control. Other than the great people that I used to work with, I don't miss it a bit.

Thanks again everyone for the nice comments!

I would like to add my thanks to Joe as well. The Beretta pad was a perfect fit and anyone that likes cats is a friend of mine.

Let me add my compliments to the little troll from under the bridge who surfaced and became one of us. He recently took the plastic junk, that Beretta puts on to adjust their combs, and replaced it with his and now I can get the height I need and it's easy to change. Looks great. Another fine job by the "Tronster".
