ATF relaxes gun sale limits for non-citizens

    All this does is lesson (remove) the time requirement for a legal to be allowed to purchase a firearm who is residing in a state. You must provide prove of residency. At present it's 90 days. A good change..

    Does not change the rules of purchase for someone (Canadian) just visiting the states to attend a shoot or on vacation. They must purchase through an FFL, but can't take possession. FFL has to make arrangements for firearm to be shipped to their country.

    By the way, the final rule has not been written. Until so, 90 day rule is what you use.

    Rick... the article if correct implies that the "Right Wing Nuts" would be more responsibble or happy with this article. Having said that and being a former FFL Holder, something smells with the whole article.
