I applied online for membership in ATA in April.
My credit card shows a charge from ATA on 4/30/07.
But,I have yet to receive paperwork or acknowledgement
of any kind from ATA. I have e-mailed ATA officials three times and
have not received an answer from anyone at ATA.
It's only a few bucks but, I was hoping to enter
a couple of registered shoots this summer. Anyone
    else with a similar problem?

    Thanks,
    Mark

Go ahead and enter them, you should have printed off a copy of the form when you applied. That is your receipt. Or email kkey@shootata.com She has always answered my emails within a day or two and got the desired results. Welcome and have fun. John

Mark the card imprinter/mag strip recorder went south and had to be replaced. They are hard to get and finally one was found in Cincinnati and is now at work in Vandalia. Your card should be in your hand soon, but there was a reason for the delay.

WOW; I didn't know the card imprinter was the "person" who answered peoples emails. I guess that is why he got no response to his emails huh? Funny how all we hear is "don't come on here and bitch; send an email". This guy sends numerous emails and hears nothing......comes on hear and posts and waalaa gets an answer. Maybe the correct way IS to come on here and bitch!! LOL

Called with a change of address last Monday 4/21. Was told card machine was down and it would follow when available. Got Average card on 4/23 and the plastic card arrived 4/29.

I signed up with ATA online April 30th, 2007.
Today is June 23, 2007. ATA has my money and I still
don't have a card or a response from ATA.

Mark- Neil did explain the problem very clearly but he did make a major blunder within his explanation. He stated the first imprinter/magnetic strip recorder "went South". Obviously, anything that goes to the South is significantly improved. I think he intended to say the apparatus that broke went North.

I have e-mailed the ATA at least 4 time in the last 2 weeks about getting a logon password. I have my ATA number but have got no response from Shawna. I figure I'll talk to them at the Grand.
