On the ATA website is press release regarding an extra $100,000 added to the Grand American for 2012. Is this where the xtra ATA fees are going? Just curious where the money is coming from?
No personal attack at all. Just the facts, just rebutting his feigned anger and disgust and, as to an invasion of privacy claim, HE left the information for anyone, including me, to see. In fact, it was there just a few minutes ago. Anyone can see it, anyone can get his name, anyone can see his ATA records.
BTW: I didn't post his name or ATA #, but I could have.
You know that when you buy or sell here, at least one other person (the person buying from you or the person to whom you are selling) knows your name and address.
And, my post was not a rant, just a rebuttal to the "we." As a lawyer myself, I am not too awfully worried about an invasion of privacy claim.
Roger, I understand what you are saying, it is pretty simple and obvious; I just disagree with your point, that's all. It's pretty simplistic to argue that anything the ATA spends is funded by all members; I guess the Grand should be shut down since maybe we all can't afford to go to it?
Exactly which part of my above post was factually inaccurate?
I'll just add that $50,000 of this $100,000 is being added to individual Lewis Class options in individual events, separate from the 900 target Lewis. Is this ok with you complainers, or is it still unfair that the money is only available to shooters playing the Lewis in those events.
Also note that a portion of my fees for the last shoot will be going to pay for the $100k. I do not have control over that unless I do not shoot registered ATA targets.
Also note, that unlike grn, I have shot in 5 states. My winnings over a 3 year period paid my way through college.
Joe M. You just got outed and then you have the gall to call Bob a "non shooter troll." Really? And you're trying to tell the members here with the averages you had during those three years was good enough to actually make money to pay for college? I think not.
I placed at Eastern Grand (calcutta), the tri-state in Stuebenville (Calcutta, got money and no yardage), 2nd at the Locktite Championship in Vandalia at the OSTA shoot. I shot a 98 the Grand and played all the options (big bucks no whammys). Even my 94 at the West Virginia State Shoot paid money (Calcutta). I shot a 198 in singles as a B shooter and earned some money there as well. I didn't earn any yardage in a shoot less than 1000 people.
Before 1996 only a few people had averages well over 90. But you wouldn't know that would you noob.
We shot for money before the sissy targets and trinkets. We only needed 500 targets a year to keep out of penalty yardage.
I have been in shoot-offs in Vandalia....something you will never experience.
Unlike you, I have never hid my ID. I have never claimed to be good nor have I claimed to have shot in any other states. What does that have to do with the price of gas anyway? I'm ceratin there are many many many shooters who have only shot their home State. You sir(and I use that very loosely) are a TROLL. You have anger issues and its showing all too well. Enough said.
Joe, I see an anger management class in your future.....along with some other therapy. Keep laughing Joe, maybe you can get in another 100 targets this year. By the way we need facts from you Joe about your scores not just your made up numbers about how great your are. LOL!
Joe, have you noticed that none of your handlers are supporting you as you take a beating on TS.com?
Your pal brought up my limited shooting experience....or so he thought.
It your gang that are actually the noobs.
There are many shooters that only shoot in their own state and they have a right to do so. You idiots were making a point about how little I may know because of a lack of shooting.
Some people cannot give their id for many legal reasons which would probably confuse you. Posting something like that can leave you liable for damages. Encouraging that can also make you a part of an action.

Bwaaahahahahahahahahaaahahahhahahahahaha uh oh hahahahahhahah quit now. You are making my gut hurt.
I have been to Sparta and decided to never spend a penny there.
Again you are showing your ignorance. Minus the donated money you could make far more money in Vandalia or the Tri-state. There was something to shoot for and you didn't have to take money off handicapped shooters or any other shooter that could never make it to the grand.
But you are just a noob and prove it with every sentence.
Good tactic Joe M. Try and divert attention away from you being outed as an anger phony. I don't have anymore time to waste here. I'm off to the American Club. You wanna come?
