Fred, Would NHSC ever consider a Big 50 at your Wednesday shoots?

    Fred,

Whatever happened to the "coin-op" machines and night shooting at NoHo? Think it will ever happen? You guys have a great club, but your hours of operation make it difficult for a working man.

I like the Big 50 idea too.

    Thanks,
    Pat

Pat, et. al.: The coin machine never worked properly and still takes supervision = broken targets, shooters talking on line, coins purchased and sold, and machines turned on, machines loaded, etc. We are open Wednesday mornings, Saturday, and Sunday -- so how much do you work that you can't come shoot a few rounds? We are an ALL volunteer CLUB [not a business] so when Ray Brasser was around he did the paper work for the Big 50. He also set the doubles trap.

We get many e-mails like yours, but when it comes to actually coming out and shooting, no one shows up [10 ATA shooters]. A little support would be nice. We do run interclub, challenge shoots, pot shoots, and club shoots. We have become the home of Ventura County shooting and they hold their shoots at NHSC.

Big 50 is a good idea, but scores need to be recorded, yardage or single categories determined, fees collected, and all of that mailed in. Any volunteers?? You don't have to be a club member to run this program. Fred

    Hey Shooter and Grunt!
I know you're not doing any shooting at your old haunts so why don't you get out and shoot with Ventura County Sportsmen? NOHO has made us feel very welcome at their club and we put on good shoots. March 20 is the next one so take this as a personal invitation to both of you. Oh yeah, Fred you're welcome to shoot with us too! LOL! I'll try and make the upcoming ATA shoot, they are always well run and a lot of fun.

Thank you Mike. I shot the "POT" shoot during your Ventura Shoot. Came is 2nd most of the time... won one. Like second best hands in poker = expensive. Fred

What's the weather look like for this Saturday? Does that canyon become impassable after a storm?
